Although the project team works closely with the Government agencies, the team comprises independent researchers and enthusiasts. The team has recently invested personal resources and some donations from our supporters to procure a field vehicle to allow for data collection and rapid access to remote sites upon tip-offs from citizens about the tiger movement. 

 A donation of Rs. 30,000 will support the field running costs for 30 days including remuneration for the researcher, and assistants;  and field expenses such as food, fuel cost, etc.

 Tigers are secretive animals, even more so in an urban setup. To track their movement, warn local agencies including police and forest department about their presence in a potential high conflict risk zone, we rely on automatic cameras that trigger by themselves by detecting animal movement. Currently have 13 working camera traps, which need to be periodically visited to collect data from memory cards. These cameras are often damaged or lost to theft.

 A donation of  Rs. 25,000 - Rs. 30,000 will help procure one camera trap with 4G connectivity that, even if stolen or destroyed, will allow us access to the invaluable data., which is not possible with non-connectivity cameras. We intend to increase the number of camera traps.
